we will cross a tunnel solely dreamed of       pink and blue under a yellow moon

we will find a world devoid of fright      when we see people flying           we will know that is

the right side                so we will       (at last)           be graceful            &        in love

as our mothers prayed us to be (someday)        we will learn                 to embrace the space given

we will run      fast light                 without the weight          of the world behind

we will swim  not to drown                we will laugh               not in shut mouths

we will never grow enough                to leave                   thrown out

we will avow our first names               until we forget the time           we were others in disguise

i will be a boy                                                   and                                                      i will be a girl

you will be my love withal

we will not be sure                            if there is more to this world     than our hearts

we will cry                                         for all the hurt                                     that carved us scars

then we will                                      sleep side by side                                wait for a new sun to rise

we will know                that we have                countless number of days                  stored

we will live them        we will love them                we will live them

i will love you             like i (always) wanted to

how good would it be to live in a ghibli movie with you (a queer ode to tranquility)
